Artist Assistance Program

The Georgia Foundation for Public Spaces is proud to provide assistance to artists in need, whether it's for art supplies, event participation or even health or transportation issues. We work with business partners to solve problems, find supplies or make arrangements.

Once an artist submits an application for assistance, the Board of Directors reviews it quickly and makes a determination on how to help. Most of the time the assistance will be in the form of pre-paid services (such as a hotel room, booth fee or other). The applicant is notified and help is on the way!

If you feel that you would qualify for assistance, don't hesitate to complete the application and send it to us:

Georgia Foundation for Public Spaces
P.O. Box 422671
Atlanta, GA 30342

The application has all the instructions you'll need.

Here is the list of what to expect:

Essay describing the need for assistance
Photos of current artwork or work in progress
Some business in Georgia (but residency not required)
References (1 personal; 1 business)
Submitted a minimum of 30 days prior to event
