Georgia Foundation For Public Spaces - artists working for artists
GFFPS and its volunteer Board of Directors administrates two programs for artists. The first program, "Artist Assistance" is basic financial help for minor emergencies. The second program, "Artist Scholarship Plan" has a longer ranging impact, supporting artists' academic and enrichment course studies.
The awards are based on submissions during the calendar year. All decisions by the Board are final, based on the program criteria and application.
ARTIST ASSISTANCE PROGRAM
The purpose of the Artist Assistance Program is to offer help to artists in need. This may include supplies, health or transportation issues or assistance for AFFPS event participation. Assistance will be provided in the form of prepaid services when possible. Decisions are final and at the discretion of the GFFPS Board of Directors.
